1. Purpose
This Contributor Agreement (“Agreement”) defines the terms under which individuals (“Contributors”) may submit code, documentation, designs, or other materials to projects maintained by It Is Unique Official (“IIUO”).
2. Eligibility
Contribution access is not open to the public. Only individuals who have been reviewed, approved, and granted contributor access by IIUO may submit contributions.
3. Scope of Contributions
Contributions may include, but are not limited to:
- Source code and scripts
- Documentation and technical content
- Design assets and UI resources
- Bug fixes, optimizations, and improvements
4. Original Work & Ownership
By submitting a contribution, you confirm that:
- The contribution is your original work, or
- You have the legal right to submit it
- The contribution does not infringe on third-party rights
5. Licensing of Contributions
All accepted contributions become part of IIUO projects and are licensed under the license specified for each project.
Contributors grant IIUO and project users a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right to use, modify, distribute, and reproduce the contribution as part of the project.
6. No Compensation
Contributions are voluntary. Contributors acknowledge that they are not entitled to compensation, royalties, or fees for submitted contributions unless explicitly agreed in writing.
7. Code Quality & Standards
Contributors agree to follow:
- Project coding standards and documentation guidelines
- Security best practices
- Peer review and approval processes
8. Security & Responsibility
Contributors must not knowingly introduce vulnerabilities, malicious code, or insecure dependencies. Any discovered security issues must be responsibly disclosed.
9. Contributor Conduct
Contributors are expected to:
- Act professionally and respectfully
- Avoid harassment, abuse, or disruptive behavior
- Follow community guidelines and governance rules
10. Termination of Contribution Rights
IIUO reserves the right to revoke contributor access at any time if this Agreement or community standards are violated. Termination does not affect previously accepted contributions.
11. Disclaimer
Contributions are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. IIUO is not responsible for issues arising from contributed content.
12. Agreement Acceptance
By submitting a contribution or applying for contributor access, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Contributor Agreement.
